SGFIN had the privilege of hosting Ms. Anshula Kant, Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of World Bank Group, at innovation4.0 to discuss the crucial topic of Connecting Investors to a More Sustainable Future in an event moderated by Professor Sumit Agarwal, Managing Director of SGFIN. She shared about the World Bank Group’s mission to reduce poverty and inequality, which is made even more critical by recent shocks including the COVID pandemic and the war in Ukraine. She explained that the World Bank’s support of climate change adaptation and mitigation also supports social sustainability goals, since those that feel the brunt of the impact of climate change-related disasters are often the most vulnerable.
