We invite you to join us in this event, which aims to share the latest research insights by SGFIN in energy transition projects implemented in Asia from 2013 to 2022.

Using a clear definition of energy transition in the context of Asian countries developed in collaboration with industry experts, SGFIN has manually collected the project information across various bond issuers, including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), International Finance Corporation (IFC) and various corporations.

SGFIN proposes a novel way of harmonizing the peripheral list of social and environmental performance metrics from different projects into impact metrics that can be translated into financial valuations. We believe this will enable various stakeholders to have a holistic understanding of the impact generated by these projects beyond the economic value.

Following the presentation of the research study, we will devote the second half of the event to an industry panel discussion on the Challenges and Opportunities for Energy Transition in Asia. The panel will explore the complex landscape of energy transition in Asia, a region that plays a pivotal role in shaping the global energy future.
