On 9 September 2026, SGFIN will launch its latest whitepaper, Closing the Sustainability Action Gap: Insights from the Singlife-SGFIN Sustainable Future Index 2026.
The Singlife-SGFIN Sustainable Future Index (SFI) 2026 whitepaper examines how Singaporeans translate sustainability awareness and intentions into action across four pillars: Responsible Investing, Acting on Climate Change, Inclusive and Sustainable Solutions, and Society and Culture.
Based on a survey of 1,500 respondents comprising of different age and household income groups, it uses Awareness-Knowledge-Ownership-Action (AKOA) behavioural framework to identify personal ownership as a key driver of sustainable behaviour, while highlighting persistent intention–action gaps and practical opportunities for policymakers and businesses to encourage more sustainable choices.
