Why participate in this competition?

  • Acquire new knowledge about sustainability demand: Gain profound insights into the current state of sustainable behavior among Singaporeans and their demand for sustainable products and initiatives. Identify solutions for bridging the gaps in Singaporeans’ sustainability behavior, as well as tackling challenges faced by businesses in integrating sustainability considerations in their products and business models.
  • Acquire hands-on experience in generating industry-ready solutions: Experience the end-to-end process from identifying gaps to translating them into innovative solutions. Test out your business ideas with industry experts and peers. Present your ideas and gain valuable feedback from the sustainability experts.
  • Valuable internship and management trainee programme: Unique internship and management trainee opportunities are available for winning team members.

How the Competition Works

Problem Statement Selection

Problem Statement Selection

Select one of two industry-relevant problem statements and develop an innovative, feasible intervention strategy designed to address the challenge.

Preliminary Phase

Preliminary Phase

Teams will have 6 weeks to ideate and submit a proposal deck outlining the concept, rationale, and key details of their strategy.

During this period, participants will have access to a Virtual Q&A session to clarify questions, as well as a curated industry workshop, where they can learn directly from sustainability professionals tackling similar challenges in practice.

Final Phase

Final Phase

Shortlisted finalists will have 2 weeks to further elaborate and strengthen their strategy to be industry-applicable.

The finalist teams will present their idea to a jury of leading industry experts at the Final Round presentation on 22 April 2026.

Team Composition

Team Composition

Each team must consist of 3-5 members

Undergraduates and postgraduates from all faculties and local universities are welcome

Team members do not need to be from the same school

Participants may only join one team

Attendance

Attendance

At least one representative from each team must attend the training workshop

Full team attendance is compulsory for the final round
